How to Make Sure Your Filled PDF Prints Correctly
Text in the wrong spot, or a page that's suddenly the wrong size — here's how to avoid the most common printing surprises.

Finish filling in the form first
Make sure every field, checkmark and signature you need is placed and looks correct on screen before printing.

Use the Review screen to check for anything missed
Before downloading, the Review step shows a count of any fields still left empty — worth a glance if the form has several required fields.

Print directly from the tool, or from the downloaded file
Use the built-in Print button, which opens your browser's print dialog already set up for the document, or download the PDF first and print it from any PDF viewer.

Choose Actual Size, not Fit to Page
Most print dialogs offer a scaling choice. "Fit to Page" can shrink or stretch the document slightly to match your paper size, which is exactly what causes text to drift out of alignment with pre-printed lines and boxes. "Actual Size" (sometimes called 100%) prints it exactly as laid out.

Do a one-page test print for long or important forms
If the form is long or the alignment really matters, print just the page with the most precise placement first and check it before printing the rest.
